NW Plus CU has Record Year
Local Credit Union Sets New Record
EVERETT, WA – Historic low interest rates and rapidly increasing home values fueled a furious housing market in 2016, especially here in the Pacific Northwest. As home buyers made their move, many reached out to NW Plus Credit Union, which issued a record $40.8-million in home mortgage loans during 2016. "Of the 240 loans closed, 94 were for purchases, 81 were refinances and we also did 65 HELOCs/2nd Mortgages," according to Torrie D. Ramos, Chief Operating Officer for NW Plus Credit Union. "Our mortgage team, led by Debbie Compton who handles from Marysville South and Lydia Guel who handles from Smokey Point North, were very excited to help so many members. We're looking forward to helping even more in 2017!"
