Why We're Different

NW Plus CU is a full-service, member-owned financial institution. Members have access to a full range of financial products and services, including: savings accounts, checking accounts, certificates of deposit (CDs), business banking accounts, consumer loans, mortgages and more.

We are also a not-for-profit financial cooperative. We work for the benefit of our members and return our profits to them through lower loan rates, higher rates on savings and checking accounts, low fees and innovative products.

When you become a NW Plus CU member you become an equal shareholder with the other members, you become an owner. Each member has one vote to elect the volunteer Board of Directors and Supervisory Committee. These volunteers provide governance to a professional management team and credit union operations.

Everyone is welcome at NW Plus CU. We are proud to be one of fewer than 130 Juntos Avanzamos designated credit unions nationwide. This designation is awarded to credit unions that are committed to serving and empowering Hispanic and immigrant consumers, providing safe, affordable and relevant financial services.

Our History

Since 1939, NW Plus has provided financial services to the employees and family members of Frontier Communications formerly known as GTE and Verizon in Snohomish and Skagit County. Since then, we have expanded our charter to include anyone who lives, works or worships in the State of Washington.
