NW Plus Credit Union Donates $3,000 to LINC NW

Everett, WA (November 5, 2025) - NW Plus Credit Union is pleased to announce it has donated $3,000 to LINC NW, a vital community hub based in Marysville that supports families, youth, and individuals through a wide array of services and collaborates to care for families across north Snohomish and Skagit Counties. Funds were raised with the help of NW Plus CU members during Credit Union Week (October 13 – 17).

"We believe in bringing humanity to financial services. Partnering with LINC NW is an extension of our mission and allows us to support the whole person, providing more opportunities and strengthening the communities we serve," said Debbie Driscoll, Chief Lending Officer, NW Plus CU.

LINC NW’s work includes:

  • Operating a Family Resource Center that provides on-site and mobile support: help with basic needs (clothing, hygiene, etc.), financial assistance, skill-building for parents and families, navigation of community resources.
  • Running a Cold Weather Shelter (in partnership with the City of Marysville / Snohomish County) which opens when temperatures drop (e.g., below 34°F) to provide safe overnight shelter during winter months.
  • Hosting a Community Closet / Basic Needs Closet, where new/gently-used clothing, coats, hygiene items, and more are made available for children and families.
  • Providing youth mentoring, parent skill-building, and developmental resources as part of building resilience and positive youth development.
  • Partnering with local libraries and schools to expand access to library materials in the North Lakewood / Marysville area.

“When people need support, we like to be able to respond quickly and with as much compassion and generosity as we can muster,” said Ryan Brown, Executive Director, LINC NW. “It’s because of support from donors like the amazing members and employees at NW Plus CU that we can make these moments of support happen. Our gratitude grows every day as folks lean into what it means to care for one another. This funding will allow for warming supplies, food, and clothes for our friends in the community that can use some love and support. When we all pitch in a little, it can make a huge difference!”
